Mazdak Shokrian joined Plug as Senior Director of Technology, Engineering and Design in January 2022, bringing 20 years of experience in Process and Technology engineering . He is responsible for leading Plug’s Technology and Engineering team for developing and building novel processing technologies for energy transition including hydrogen liquefaction. Prior to Plug, Mazdak served as VP of Technology, Engineering and Design at Joule Processing which Plug acquired in early 2022. Before his career at Joule, Mazdak held various leadership roles in technology development, engineering, and process optimization. Mazdak holds a PhD in Process Engineering with a focus on Advanced Process Control, Process Synthesis and Optimization from Oklahoma State University.
