David has more than 33 years experience with Honeywell in the automation business, including project implementation, commissioning, service, retrofits and sales.  He started his career in marine automation projects with Honeywell, working on commercial vessels in engine room automation, cargo handling systems and Global Marine Distress and Safety Systems (Radio/Satellite Communications installations).The majority of David’s career has been in sales for the Oil and Gas market, providing him with a broad understanding of the Oil & Gas value chain from wellhead, onshore and offshore production through to pipeline, LNG liquefaction and shipping.David is currently Honeywell’s Director for the Marine market, focused on Automation and Safety Solutions for High Technology vessels.  This role includes FLNG, LNG Carriers and FSRU’s, as well as FPSO’s.  He leads sales, and works with a team to set the direction in the development and implementation of new automation technologies in these markets.David holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Degree from Queensland University of Technology and a Masters of Business Administration in Technology Management from Latrobe University. He lives in Australia with his family and enjoys water sports, in both liquid and cryogenic phase (snow skiing).
