Mr Anurag Sharma has an experience of over three decades with ONGC having exposure in diverse E&P activities in India and overseas. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from MNREC, Allahabad in the year 1984 and completed his MBA from FMS, Delhi. Mr Anurag Sharma joined ONGC’ Board of Directors in June’2020 as a Director (Onshore). He is responsible for managing ONGC’s Onshore Oil and Gas Assets. He is also having additional responsibility as Director-In-charge of Marketing Group, Joint Venture Group, Materials Management Group and HSE. He also has a rich experience of overseas operations leading OVL’s projects in Vietnam and Russia, besides contributing in Business Development activities in CIS and SE Asia. He has also led the flagship initiatives of ONGC viz. Make in India & Start-up India. He strongly believes in safe work practices and is focussed on transforming the company into a safer & more resilient business. His vision and dynamic attributes helped ONGC steer though many milestones making numerous operational and policy initiatives.
