As CEO of OCI Global (Euronext Amsterdam: OCI) and Fertiglobe plc (ADX: FERTIGLB), I am leading a re-focused strategy, prioritizing decarbonization across their global portfolios, and driving the transition to cleaner energy solutions for existing and new customers. I also serve as an Executive Director on OCI and Fertiglobe’s Boards, and have a responsibility to ensure that OCI delivers on its ambition to power a cleaner future sooner through more sustainable products and practical, real-world solutions. Since joining OCI in 2009, I have held several positions across the Group including Global Chief Operating Officer. Previously, as CEO of OCI Americas, I oversaw the ammonia and methanol businesses in the US and the development of OCI’s largest greenfield projects, including Iowa Fertilizer Company, USA. I am a member of the Bloomberg New Economy Climate Technology Coalition, a steering member of the Hydrogen Council and an Executive Board Member and Chair of the Sustainability Committee of the International Fertilizer Association.
