John Hatley PE, GM Market Innovation Wartsila, has 40+ years of combined marine experience spanning business development, project management of vessel construction, owner’s representation, ship operations, and vessel design. Prior to joining Wartsila he held positions with GE Transportation, Marine Industries Northwest, First American Bulk Carriers, John J. McMullen Architects, US Lines, and Trinidad Tankers. He is a licensed Chief Engineer with sea experience in global trades. He holds a BS degree USMMA Kings Point, MSE University of Michigan Naval Architecture Marine Engineering, and MBA University of Washington; Fellow SNAME, RINA; Puget LNG Board, SGMF Vice Chairman, SEALNG Investment Committee Chair.
