Chris Richardson is the Chief Executive Officer of 8 Rivers. Prior to joining 8 Rivers, Chris led the energy and infrastructure practice for the Americas at White & Case and was a founder of that firm’s Houston office.

Throughout his 20+ year career, Chris has focused on the development and execution of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects and related corporate and finance transactions throughout the U.S. and across more than 50 countries worldwide. He previously served as the General Counsel of Mubadala Petroleum in Abu Dhabi and has also worked with leading energy law firms and energy companies while based in Texas, the Middle East and Hong Kong. He received his BA from Tulane University and his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Environmental Law Journal.
