Florian Feller has a degree in mathematics and was born in Munich. After his studies, he initially worked as a management consultant. He has been with erdgas schwaben since 2016, initially as Head of Corporate Development and Shareholding Management, and since 2019 as Head of Climate Strategy and Political Affairs. In 2020, together with the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW), he founded the initiative H2vorOrt, which he currently chairs. He helped found the European DSO Initiative Ready4H2 and is its German representative. H2vorOrt aims to rapidly decarbonize the German gas distribution networks and consists of 50 German DSO companies, that operate more than 50% of said networks. H2vorOrt is coordinating the German bottom-up planning process for the transformation of the German gas DSOs to climate neutrality. This planning process is coherent with the European roadmap developed by Ready4H2.
