Dan has been actively involved in the Oil and Gas Industry for more than 25 years. He started his career with Halliburton in 1996 in the Gulf of Mexico and has since held numerous engineering/managerial positions throughout the company both internationally and domestically. After leaving Halliburton in 2007 he has served on the Board of Directors of numerous energy service companies, E&P companies, and O&G Software/Technology Companies.

He is currently a Principal Industry Expert for Oil and Gas in Hexagon’s EAM Group.

Dan has published numerous peered reviewed technical papers throughout his career on the successful application of Digital Twin technologies and strategies for field O&G operations.

He is a SME in dense signal anomaly detection, predictive – preventive – prescriptive analytics, edge computing, AI/ML, HPC Cloud applications, Artificial Lift, Production Optimization, Well Intervention, Well Control, Hydraulic Fracturing/Acidizing, EOR-Waterflood modelling, Nodal analysis, and Reservoir Conformance.
