Toby Chancellor-Weale is a Project Manager and Principal Consultant at Penspen, a leading global energy consultancy business. Toby works within Penspen’s Engineering & Project Management Group.
During his career Toby has specialised in the design of Natural Gas Processing and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) facilities, recently stepping out into Energy Transition, Hydrogen Technology & Infrastructure and CCUS - Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage.
Toby has 30 years’ experience working for a range of oil & gas contractors and consultants. He has worked on the design and operation of both on and offshore hydrocarbon processing facilities in Africa, Australia, the Caspian region, the Middle East, Norway, Russia and the UK.
Toby is the immediate past-Chair of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Oil and Natural Gas Special Interest Group (SONG). Toby is a Fellow of the IChemE and a Chartered Engineer, he holds an MBA from Imperial College and a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Bradford University.
