John Ergina, PE, has established a 12-year career in the energy industry with a focus in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). Prior to joining Siemens Energy, John worked for nine years at an EPC firm where he was the technical expert in LNG plant design for the company. He worked in all phases of project execution from proposals to conceptual studies to FEEDs and operations working with the gambit of process technology licensors and energy companies. Since 2020 he has been a part of Siemens Energy's IDEA Team where he is now a Solutions Manager. In his role, John develops proposals and manages execution of conceptual studies and bid proposals centered on decarbonization of existing and future LNG facilities. With his extensive background in LNG Train design he is able to identify and analyze key areas for integration of decarbonization technologies like train debottlenecking, brownfield engine exchange, carbon capture and utilization systems, waste heat integration, etc. .
