Gayoung is a Senior Consultant based in Perth. She has been working in LNG industry for 17 year and has wide experience of commercial matters in the LNG industry. She started her career as a marketing representative for an LNG seller and successfully contributed to the development of an SPA and participated in price reviews. While working for a company importing LNG, she was involved in the US LNG project, with responsibilities including terms and conditions of the tolling agreement, tax and transfer pricing. Since joining Poten, Gayoung has done wide range of client works related to LNG supply project developments, LNG procurement, terminal development and contracting and shipping issues as well as studies related to energy transitions.

Gayoung has a Master of Science Degree in Energy Economics from Curtin University, Western Australia and Bachelor of Science in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She is fluent in Korean and English.
