Kazuhiro Takahashi has been an Executive Officer of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) since April 2022, responsible for the Marine Fuel GX Division and Integrated Tanker & Offshore Projects of the Tanker Unit.
He joined MOL in 1991 and began his career in the Container Ships business . After a couple of years both in the Container business and Corporate Finance team, in 1996 he was transferred to an MOL subsidiary handling chemical tankers. In 1999, he returned to MOL Tokyo headquarters and was placed in charge of the Chemical, Product and Methanol tanker business.
Over 20 years, including a 4-year stint working in London and Singapore as a representative for these regions he gained an abundance of experience in the Tanker business, in areas such as J/V establishment, fleet planning marketing, sales, operations and chartering.
In 2018, he took the role of General Manger of the Tanker Division, and in 2022 he was newly appointed as an Executive Officer of MOL. He graduated from the School of Law, Meiji University in March 1991.
