James Lambert is Oxford Economics’ Director for Economic Consulting in Asia. He works with a wide range of experts across the company’s global team to bring data-driven economic and business insights to market, and to deliver tailored solutions to Asia-based clients.
James was lead author on the recent white paper, ‘The Global Green Economy: Capturing the opportunity”, a collaboration between Oxford Economics and Arup, which explored the size and nature of the economic risks and opportunities for different economies implied by the transition to a carbon-neutral global economy.
James has worked with Oxford Economics for approaching 10 years. Before moving to Singapore, he managed a portfolio in the London-based Economic Impact team, specialising in the economic impacts of technological change, particularly on the labour market. Previously, James enjoyed a career in the UK Government Economic Service, including roles in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Cabinet Office. James is based in the company’s Asia headquarters, in Singapore.
